Welcome! I'm Kaye Ryan

I have enjoyed working as a Registered Nurse and Board-Certified Lactation Consultant for over 15 years.  During this time, I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting families not only in the hospital setting but also in the comfort of their homes. Throughout my experience, I have seen first-hand the struggles breastfeeding can bring to both new and experienced parents.  Families deserve knowledgeable advice and ongoing encouragement when faced with obstacles in their path and I am committed to providing the individualized care and understanding that is needed.

PREPARE FOR THE FIRST 48 HOURS WITH YOUR NEWBORN

Many new parents expect breastfeeding to come naturally, but the first few days after birth can be overwhelming. During the "Prenatal Newborn Breastfeeding Prep", I help parents understand what is normal and how to navigate breastfeeding in the hospital. In addition, find out what is essential to pack for your baby during your hospital stay, and what isn't necessary.  When families know what to expect, they feel more confident and less anxious during those important first days after delivery.

Individualized Care Includes...

Seeking guidance from a skilled lactation professional is an important step in building confidence to know your breastfeeding goals are within reach.
